I ate together with my wife, so far, twice at this restaurant, I had chicken and my wife had Fish & Chips. Both very good, well cooked, with everything you need and above all no waiting times. We found the atmosphere very pleasant, like at a family restaurant, the ladies who prepared our food and served us were very kind and professional. We will come back and recommend, plus the prices are affordable.
My husband and I walked in the door because the Starbucks across the street was jammed. Even as we arrived dragging our baggage, we were made to feel very welcome. Our server stashed the luggage in a nook at the rear of the restaurant and we sat down to a proper English Breakfast. We both ordered a round of Cappucinos and “The Mini” 8 breakfast: 1 egg, toast, bacon, sausage, beans, and half a grilled tomato with mushrooms. This was a great value for a clean place, service with a smile and with attention to detail, e.g. a carafe of water arrived with lime and cucumber slices. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the vicinity of the Queensway Underground station.
A valuable restaurant, the portion of food is quite big Beef burger: the meat is juicy and the bun is soft, perfect match! Fish and chips: the fish is fresh and coated with crispy batter, super duper delicious when dip with the tartar sauce
Got the fish and chips. Wow, they were great! Massive piece of fish, lightly battered and crispy- with lots of chips and all the good condiments. Delicious. I had it twice in 3 days! This was 12.50 without a drink
Nice place for a very decent full English breakfast. The service is very friendly and we received our food and drinks quickly. Full English breakfast has all the ingredients you would expect, and was tasty. Fresh orange juice was indeed freshly made to order, and the espresso was also good. Great place to start the day!
This place has been in Queensway Market forever! Recently, newly refurbished & redecorated in soft & alluring green / white tones -They have re colour the experience applying paint or wallpaper again, typically differently.The food has always been very good as the Owner is Greek and has excellent standards: butter is not margarine , coffee is roasted beens not soluble and tea and Fish and chips are as they should be.There are also vegan options for those not meat lovers!The place is clean safe and tranquil an oasis within the busy hectic area.The food is served quickly and there is no crazy waiting time.I truly hope this business flourish cause He deserves it.Being in the Market for long means a lot.Service is efficient.There is no greek coffee though...A pitty.Eυχαριστω!
